Tree of Promise
Tree of Promise was the check-in installation for visitor badges at the DEF CON CHINA conference 2019 in Beijing 798 Art District. The installation reacted to each badge insertion by "growing" a digital leaf for each visitor who interacted.
This was a collaboration between Peiqi Su, Deqing Sun, and Che Yuan. Che was in charge of digital paintings, icons, and floating elements on the screens inside and outside the container space.
